Tzuria Learning Centre

Infrastructure
The Learning centre consists of a computer centre, a conference room, a library and two class rooms, one with television and dvd facilities. The garden is available for students to relax in during breaks.

Distance education
Distance education entails that learners do not attend formal classes at a school or college. The learners are registered with a college (we provide assistance on the basis of our experience and research) and the learner writes examinations at the institution's examination centre. Learners receive the self-study material from which they must complete tasks at their own pace.

Disciplined Study Environment
Tzuria Learning Centre provides an informal, yet disciplined self-study environment for learners enrolled for distance education - Grade 9 to 12 or 16 years old. Learners attend Tzuria daily to study under the supervision of mentors.

Tutors for specialty subjects
Tzuria Learning Centre will provide speciality teachers for subjects such as Science and Maths to assist and tutor the learners.

The computer centre
We have a computer centre for remedial classes in English, Afrikaans and Maths in the afternoons for all age groups, but it is available during the mornings for Tzuria learners. Learners can focus on specific problem areas, or do extra or advanced exercises when he/she is finished with the day's work.
